Insurance Business UK (IBUK) has released its list of 5-Star construction insurers for 2024, based on extensive input from brokers across the UK.
The annual awards recognise insurers that are meeting the expectations of the construction industry.
Eighty per cent (80%) of the insurers honoured this year were also among the winners in last year’s awards, suggesting consistent performance. However, on the flipside, brokers involved in the survey highlighted the need for more competition in the market.
The selection of the top construction insurers for 2024 was informed by a detailed survey.
The research gathered insights from a broad spectrum of brokerages, asking them to rate construction insurers they had worked with over the past 12 months. Brokers provided feedback on several key factors, including the quality of work, specialist knowledge, and customer service.
IBUK used the collected data to assign weighted scores to each criterion, and the insurers with the highest overall ratings were recognised as 5-Star award winners in construction insurance.
