Tim Cramphorn (pictured) is coming onboard Ensurance UK Limited as non-executive director starting November 01.
The former managing director of HSB Haughton Engineering Insurance Services Limited, who brings more than 45 years of industry expertise to the managing general agent (MGA), currently holds directorships at several Lloyd’s and non-Lloyd’s insurance brokers and captive insurance companies in Guernsey.
“I’m delighted to be joining the Ensurance team and to play a role in helping to reposition the business in the UK and internationally,” commented Cramphorn, who is a Chartered director whose insurance experience spans the energy sector, professional indemnity, latent defects, liabilities, credit and political risks, and surety.
“There is a great opportunity for future growth and to establish a global reputation as the go-to provider for specialist construction insurance,” he said. “I’m excited to be part of the team that is making this happen.”
Launched in 2017, the niche construction and engineering MGA and Lloyd’s coverholder is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Australian-based industry disruptor Ensurance Ltd.
