Aon has announced the appointment of Karen O’Donnell (pictured) as a client director within its PFI and infrastructure team, a specialist practice in its construction division within the Global Broking Centre. O’Donnell will report to Paul Tubb, executive director and PFI team leader, and will be based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
O’Donnell has more than 30 years of insurance industry experience, and has held roles as both an underwriter and a broker. Prior to joining Aon, she served as project risk consultant for the PPP/PFI market at Marsh. She has also held senior roles at Willis UK and Eagle Star Insurance Co.
“As we continue to focus on building and strengthening Aon’s PFI and infrastructure offering, and cementing its position as a market-leading practice, it is vital that we continue to attract top industry talent,” Tubb said. “Karen brings a wealth of experience within the insurance market, including a strong 30-year track record of successfully delivering solutions to clients ranging from SMEs to large corporations, and a proven ability to build and maintain key market relationships. I am pleased to welcome her to the team.”
