Allianz has revamped its digital claims proposition for commercial motor clients thanks to the launch of a new multimedia hosting platform.
Known as Allianz VUECloud, the platform gives customers the chance to upload video footage and documentation so that they can quickly share information about claims. It’s a free service that also gives customers the chance to create their own bespoke branded platform at a discounted rate.
According to Margaret Scott, Allianz’s head of claims strategy and customer experience, the collaboration with VUECloud, sister company to vehicle CCTV and telematics company VUE, should help improve risk management by analysing data and interpreting accident frequency.
“I’m confident that our enhanced digital claims proposition provides a faster and easier claims service which will help mitigate business interruption and disruption for customers,” she said. “We’re already seeing that claims submitted via digital channels support more active decision making and proactive claims handling, reducing time and effort for our customers and ultimately delivering better results.”
The new enhancement comes shortly after the launch of Allianz Site View which is a live video streaming platform for both personal and commercial property customers.
