Claims giant Sedgwick has formed a power & energy division in the UK.
Leading the newly created team is internal hire David Ward who has more than three decades of experience spanning loss adjusting, energy, and construction. Ward will look after a roster of Sedgwick experts who cover power & energy verticals.
“Given our significant experience handling claims across the power and energy sectors, consolidating our vast expertise into a unified offering was a clear next step,” Paul White, Sedgwick chief executive for the UK and the rest of international, said in an emailed release.
“David’s extensive experience made him an ideal choice to lead and scale the team, and his cross-sector knowledge will prove invaluable as we establish ourselves as the partner of choice for power and energy clients of all kinds.”
The UK-based claims offering comes amid global moves to incentivise green energy investments. Sedgwick believes the new division is ideally positioned to provide a comprehensive range of services amid the new operating environment and emerging trends.
