Global claims management firm McLarens has announced new strategic alliances in Scandinavia, partnering with JW Loss Adjusting in Sweden and MCL Nordic in Denmark.
Both partnerships aim to enhance McLarens’ local expertise in complex and specialty risk loss adjusting, providing clients with an expanded network of technical claims professionals across the region.
JW Loss Adjusting, headquartered in Stockholm, handles high-risk global incidents such as natural catastrophes, cyber events, political turmoil, and economic inflation. Founded in 2013 and led by chief executive Fredrik Jönsson (pictured left), the firm has grown to over 30 employees who manage claims in personal injury, motor, construction, property, and liability losses across Sweden.
Jönsson noted the partnership stems from an already productive relationship: “Having worked with McLarens over the past year, we are delighted to formalise this partnership, which will strengthen our presence both in the Scandinavian region and internationally.”
Meanwhile, MCL Nordic will now represent McLarens in Denmark alongside McLarens’ current affiliate in the market, Hans Bang (Bang Tech). Headed by founder Søren Haue (pictured right), MCL Nordic specialises in high-stakes claims, including property damage, product recalls, liability, and mechanical failures.
Reflecting on the alliance, Haue commented: “McLarens is a globally renowned brand with a shared focus on technical and specialty losses, and we look forward to leveraging this strategic alliance for the benefit of both McLarens and MCL Nordic clients.”
Steven Wallace, McLarens’ managing director for the EMEA region, emphasised the strategic significance of the partnerships, saying: “Scandinavia is an important region for McLarens, and in JW Loss Adjusting and MCL we have found two partners who can strengthen our proposition to better support clients in the region.
“Both firms are recognised leaders in their respective markets, and we’re delighted to be working with Fredrik, Søren, and their respective teams.”
