Matthias Kuznik (pictured) has joined Keoghs as a partner in London, further expanding the firm’s London Market services.
With almost 15 years of experience as an insurance lawyer in the City of London, Kuznik brings extensive expertise in coverage and defence work to Keoghs. His specialisations include financial institutions (FI), directors and officers (D&O), warranty and indemnity, and cyber and professional indemnity insurance.
Kuznik’s experience extends to handling international cases involving multiple jurisdictions and parties, offering advice post-notification, and engaging in dispute resolution in both English- and German-speaking regions.
Joining a now five-member team led by Andrew Schütte, Kuznik will enhance Keoghs’ ability to support clients on complex coverage matters, Lloyd’s and company market issues, reinsurance/delegated authority contracts and disputes, and policy wordings.

Earlier this year, Keoghs’ parent Davies swooped for commercial and maritime litigation firm Shoreside Law. The specialist team of international lawyers joined Keoghs, forming part of Davies’ complex and specialty business unit.
