Evolution Claims Management has promoted operations head Martin Thompson (pictured) to chief operating officer.
In an emailed release, the Oldbury-based insurance claims management solutions specialist said the promotion comes amid Evolution’s plans to further increase its client base and revenues. Year on year, according to the West Midlands firm, its revenues are growing more than 50%.
“I am delighted to be promoted to chief operating officer at a time when there are several exciting technology and digital projects underway which will benefit our growing client base,” commented Thompson, who joined the business in January 2022.
“We have a great team at Evolution, and I look forward to being part of the drive to generate further success.”
As part of his new position, Thompson – whose 18-year career includes time spent as Davies Group strategic accounts associate director and Direct Group Limited operations manager – will also become a member of the Evolution board.
“We are delighted to appoint Martin to the role of COO on the back of his leading role in successfully delivering improved operational performance during a period of rapid growth for Evolution,” noted chief executive Darren Cooper.
“In his new role, Martin will continue to head up the operational teams and will sit on the company’s board of directors to help lead the company into its bright future.”
Manned by 35 people in Hagley Road West, Evolution has been trading since 2016.
