Lycetts has announced it raised more than £48,000 throughout 2017 to support charitable causes.
The insurance broker, owned by
Ecclesiastical Insurance Group, organised and supported a number of events last year to raise the funds. In addition, it participated in the staff-led programme run by
Ecclesiastical wherein employees nominate a charity of their choice and get a £125 donation through MyGiving.
“Giving back to our communities is at the heart of Lycetts’ culture and ethos,” said Lycetts chief executive Charles Foster. “Not only do all of our available profits go to our charitable owner, which in turn invests them back into the community, but our staff fully embrace the business’s philanthropic approach to giving back to those in need.”
Walking with the Wounded, Parkinson’s UK, the Percy Hedley Foundation, and the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust are among the charities supported.
“We’re delighted to have once again made a difference and aim to raise even more during 2018,” said Foster.
