Eloise Sochanik (pictured) is now part of legal and insurance services provider Carpenters Group as the corporate social responsibility and diversity lead of the organisation.
“I am thrilled to join Carpenters Group, a company with an outstanding reputation in this area – a reputation backed up by an impressive gender balance, a low gender pay gap, a strong culture of giving, and an existing commitment to improving their social responsibility and diversity and inclusion efforts,” commented the key hire, who will help the firm meet its social, environmental, and diversity objectives.
Making the switch from Horwich Farrelly, Sochanik is based in the Birkenhead office and brings 13 years of corporate responsibility experience to the role. Currently she co-chairs the North West Hub of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability.
Chief executive Donna Richards had this to say: “Eloise’s experience and skills, coupled with a strong background and knowledge of the insurance and legal sectors mean that we can continue work with our stakeholders to deliver against our strategic priorities, while maintaining the integrity and ethos on which we were founded.”
Richards added that now is an important time for businesses to recognise the role they play in society and how they can bring about real impact.
