Insurance training specialist Zing365 has announced the appointment of Andy Fairchild (pictured) as non-executive director.
Fairchild was formerly the CEO of Broker Network and Applied Systems Europe. His experience also includes time spent as retail managing director at Jensten Group, as well as other leadership roles at AXA, First Direct, and Footman James.
Joining the Zing365 board as advisor and non-executive director, Fairchild will be contributing to the company’s expansion plans and efforts to reshape industry training practices, according to an emailed news release.
“We are thrilled to welcome Andy to our team as we continue on this exciting journey of growth and transformation,” said Zing365 CEO Fran Burgess. “We intend to be front and centre when it comes to shaping and improving training standards throughout the industry.”
Zing365 provides insurance professionals with training that blends technical expertise, innovative technology, and contemporary delivery methods. It collaborates with organisations across the sector to offer compliance, technical, CII qualifications, ESG, and business skills training through e-learning or instructor-led workshops.
“One-size-fits-all digital learning solutions may be a convenient and cost-effective way for organisations to deliver training, but unless it significantly improves the learner’s existing behaviour, it is likely to be a poor investment and de-motivating experience,” said Burgess. “Employees need the opportunity to access modern and relevant training in a way best suited to them, their role and their preferred learning styles.”
“The market needs a modern training proposition like Zing365 that delivers real-life benefits to employees and their customers,” added Fairchild. “By combining leading technology, great people and deep industry knowledge, Zing365 is in a truly unique position to deliver for our market. I’m delighted to be joining such a high-quality company.”
Zing365 was acquired by integrated legal and business services provider DWF in 2021.
