WTW has hired Simon Delchar as head of Great Britain corporate risk & broking (GB CRB) and global head of portfolio placements within the company’s risk & broking segment.
“Portfolio solutions, especially the ones that we are developing for specific industries, are a key component of our service offering to clients,” global head of broking Hugo Wegbrans said in an emailed release. “They also play an integral part in our Smarter Ways to Risk proposition, delivering specialisation, exceptional client service, data, and analytics.
“Simon will be a valuable addition to our leadership team.”
Delchar, who most recently served as head of placement for UK and Ireland at Marsh, will come on board WTW in 2024.
