Tom Colraine (pictured), who was with Willis Group for nearly two decades from 1988, is joining Marsh Ltd’s board of directors.
The industry veteran, whose experience includes time spent at AIG Europe, has been tapped to serve as non-executive independent director at the brokerage giant. Prior to his appointment, Colraine held senior roles such as chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
“Marsh has a tremendous reputation for delivering innovative solutions that help their clients mitigate their risks, protect their businesses, and continue to be successful – regardless of their size or sector,” noted the new board member. “I look forward to working closely with Marsh’s senior leadership team, as they continue to develop their business across the UK and Ireland.”
Chris Lay, chief executive for Marsh UK & Ireland, believes Colraine’s “exceptional industry experience, coupled with an in-depth understanding of the international risk landscape, will be of great benefit” to the company and its clients.
