There is a new face at Willis Re – but one that will be familiar to the wider insurance market.
James Moss has joined the firm as its new co-head of the specialty casualty practice. He makes the switch from Lockton Re, where he was partner and head of international P&C reinsurance.
“I am delighted to be joining Willis Re and look forward to working with their market leading casualty team, offering clients fresh thinking and true innovation in an evolving risk landscape,” he said.
Moss’s credentials also include a stint as senior vice president in Guy Carpenter’s London market casualty team, as well as beginning his career with R K Carvill & Co Ltd. Overall, he boasts more than 30 years’ experience and will now work in tandem with Chirag Shah.
“James brings a wealth of casualty expertise to our team,” said Shah. “His leadership will only strengthen our ability to deliver thoughtful insight and value to our clients and on behalf of our casualty team, I’m excited to welcome him to Willis Re.”
