More than just a handful of new colleagues have joined the Willis Insurance and Risk Management (Willis IRM) workforce in Belfast. The headquarters ramp-up follows the 40-year-old insurance broker’s assertion in October about increasing its staff numbers and turnover.
“These 11 new members of staff will allow us to further strengthen our service offering across health and safety, accident investigation, insurance and employment law, as well as bolstering our IT and accounts department,” said managing director Richard Willis.
“I am confident that each new team member will be an asset to the company, as we continue to provide the most superior service to each of our clients, and work towards future growth.”
Meanwhile, according to the MD, the family-run business is actively recruiting for commercial account handlers within its insurance division. The goal is to have all team additions in place by the end of January.
Willis said the move guarantees that they are putting their best foot forward for 2019.
The first broker in Northern Ireland to be awarded Chartered status, Willis IRM employs over 100 people in Belfast and Hull.
