Paul Ryman-Tubb (pictured) is joining Weightmans in late 2019 as a partner within the national law firm’s insurance team.
Bringing a deep understanding of the insurance market and its interaction with the government and regulators, Ryman-Tubb will move from the Motor Insurers’ Bureau (MIB) where he most recently served as chief technical officer as part of his nearly two-decade MIB stint.
“I am delighted to join a progressive firm like Weightmans and am looking forward to a new challenge in the legal sector,” said the incoming partner.
“I’ll be using my experience to grow new relationships and strengthen my longstanding relationships to help to enhance and grow the firm’s insurance offering.”
Commenting on the appointment, Weightmans partner and head of insurance Rob Williams described Ryman-Tubb as “a fantastic addition” to the firm.
“His vast experience in the insurance market will enable us to provide an enhanced service to new and existing clients,” noted Williams. “We look forward to welcoming him to the team in the coming months.”
