Manchester-based Vista Insurance Brokers Limited is marking its 10th anniversary with a celebration for its employees.
Over 50 staff members from across the UK will attend a party at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire today (July 4), the official anniversary date. The event will feature food, drink, comedy, and music, celebrating a decade in insurance broking.
Vista was established in July 2014 following a management breakaway from another Manchester broker. Since its inception, the company has grown to over £40 million in gross written premium (GWP).
CEO Gavin Ruben expressed gratitude to the company’s loyal clients and dedicated employees.
“The founding directors and I are so very proud of what the business has achieved and the team we have built to support us on our journey. Our long-standing clients have been with us since the beginning, and I thank them for their loyalty and business over this past decade. Our clients and team are the backbone of our business and without them we’d not be here today, celebrating a huge milestone in our growth,” Ruben said.
The company has recently relocated to new Grade A premises at Windmill Green in central Manchester. The new office features shared spaces, a rooftop terrace, and community events such as happy hours, live football screenings, themed lunch events, and free breakfast and drinks for all staff.
Ruben also commented on the company’s growth, attributing it to the team’s tenacity and enthusiasm for creating an independent business.
“The drive to diversify into new areas has also seen Vista stay one step ahead of the industry,” Ruben said.
Vista also announced that it is now in the second year of a three-year strategic plan, aiming to double its size within this period. The company also has a wider 10-year plan to increase GWP to over £125 million through new schemes and initiatives, including international broker networks.
