Lloyd’s insurance broker Tysers has appointed James Lucas as associate director within the UK-headquartered firm’s political violence and terrorism division.
“It’s great to welcome James to the Tysers’ team,” said Jason Collins, global broking co-head for markets and business development.
“His appointment is indicative of our strategic ambition and commitment to meeting the increasing demand for specialist insurance expertise and technical skills across international markets.”
Commenting on the unit’s ongoing expansion, international property & casualty managing director Richard Macfarlane stated: “I am delighted that James is joining our political violence and terrorism team.
“As a market-leading broker, we are continuing to expand our offering in this specialist area to ensure that we continue to provide our clients with the tailored solutions and superior service that Tysers is renowned for.”
The global political violence and terrorism team at Tysers is headed by Ciara Appleford, whose appointment was announced last December.
