There is a new arrival at Towergate, with the company revealing earlier today that Colin Wallace has joined the firm to lead its partnerships development.
Wallace, who makes the switch from Brightside where he was distribution director, will be responsible for the growth and development of the brokerage’s partnership business. It’s a role he is well accustomed to, having been head of partnerships management, accident health and travel at ACE European Group for a two-year period and head of partnerships at Hiscox for eight years.
In his new role he will report to retail chief executive officer Steven Anson, who welcomed the appointment given Wallace’s “excellent reputation.”
“He has a clear remit to breathe life back into our partnerships proposition, given our unique position in so many niche and specialist product lines,” explained Anson. “His appointment follows a period of disparate Partnership representation within the group, and signifies a commitment to drive this revenue opportunity as we continue to focus relentlessly on revenue generation and growth.”
