Towergate Insurance has appointed Feilim Mackle to its board as a non-executive director, pending regulatory and shareholder approval. He will be replacing Teresa Robson-Capps, who will be stepping down from the board.
Mackle is an insurance industry veteran with over 25 years’ experience. He has worked as sales and service director of Telefónica UK (O2) since 2011, and was previously interim chief operating officer at Resolution Ltd and executive director of life and pensions operations at Aegon UK plc. Mackle also worked for Royal Bank of Scotland and Standard Life.
