There’s now a head of intellectual property (IP) at Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK).
Assuming the newly created role is former graduate trainee Aoife Woulfe, who came onboard TMK in 2014 and went on to serve as an underwriter on the cyber and IP unit. Her fresh remit will see Woulfe focus on developing innovative products and wordings, accelerating the growth of the IP book, and enlarging the team to offer market-leading propositions.
“Aoife has had an impressive career at TMK to date,” noted head of enterprise risk Laila Khudairi. “Under her leadership, TMK will introduce new concepts in IP that will provide clients with superior coverage for this increasingly important risk exposure.
“The creation of the new role reflects our commitment to maintaining a market-leading presence in this area, and I’m delighted that our clients will benefit from an exceptionally talented, insightful, and inspiring underwriter, with in-depth expertise in this complex line of business.”
The University of Limerick alumnus holds a bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, and risk management as well as a master’s degree in financial services.
