Specialty insurer Tokio Marine HCC International (TMHCCI) has announced the opening of a broker lounge located on the seventh floor of the iconic Walkie Talkie Building at 20 Fenchurch Street. The opening signifies the consolidation of TMHCCI’s London Market operations in one site in the building.
Open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, the lounge features open panoramic views across London and has a multi-use purpose with space for all kinds of functions, from formal business meetings to more casual social events. The broker lounge will also act as a key access point for brokers to collaborate with teams across the business.
TMHCCI London Market chief underwriting officer Simon Button said that the relocation to the Walkie Talkie is testament to the firm’s outstanding and consistent growth in recent years.
“Following the completion of our office move, we have created a dedicated space for brokers to come meet our people. We hope the broker lounge will, in time, become the key meeting point for many of our broker partners to build even stronger relationships for the benefit of our mutual clients,” Button said.
In March, TMHCCI also announced the expansion of its UK trade credit division with the appointment of two senior risk underwriters, Karen Crowley and Arwel Roberts.
