Tokio Marine HCC – Specialty Group has enhanced its global broker services by integrating its crisis management insurance team into its international division.
This strategic move aims to simplify intermediaries’ access to Tokio Marine HCC’s expertise and facilitate discussions about a broader range of client needs through a single point of contact.
The inclusion of the crisis management insurance team, offering kidnap & ransom, maritime piracy, and active assailant covers, provides the international division of the specialty group with a third line of business. These specialized products grant clients access to crisis management experts capable of guiding them through complex situations.
The Barcelona-based team, led by Doris Pajon, senior underwriting manager for crisis management insurance, is well-positioned to serve insured individuals on a global scale through an existing expansive network of brokers. With team members in strategic locations like London, Barcelona, Paris, Brussels, and Dusseldorf, the expanded international division of the specialty group now offers a multi-lingual proposition to brokers and their clientele.
“We are delighted that Doris and her Europe-based team have been integrated into the broader specialty group. The crisis management product mix is hugely complimentary to both our contingency and disability lines of business and will enable us to help deliver more complete solutions for our broker partners and their clients,” Tokio Marine HCC – Specialty Group managing director Philip Hall said.
Elsewhere for the insurance group, Tokio Marine HCC International’s (TMHCCI) Japanese business division has added a new Green Upgrade Endorsement, to be added as a standard endorsement at no additional cost to its combined commercial property policies.
