Risk, capital and strategic advisor TigerRisk Partners LLC has bolstered its line-up by bringing in Tim Edwards (pictured) within its London-based P&C team serving clients across the UK, Europe and the wider international region.
Currently a senior manager in the portfolio risk management team at Lloyd’s, he is set to switch into the role of EMEA cat analytics lead at TigerRisk in October.
James Few, CEO of TigerRisk International, welcomed Edwards and noted his extensive experience – with Edwards having also spent time with the likes of Willis Re, Guy Carpenter and RMS.
“We are thrilled to have hired Tim, who has vast experience at Lloyd’s and International markets in the use of modelling to help clients structure and optimise complex reinsurance portfolios,” he said. “The appointment of Tim further strengthens the depth of service we can offer for major insurance companies in London and Europe which require sophisticated broking advice and value-added capabilities.”
The move is the latest push from TigerRisk, which also brought in experienced broker Juan England from Willis Re as a partner back in January, before moving for Aris den Hollander, also from Willis Re, for its London team in May.
