Security risk management provider Security Exchange said in a recent statement that it will join The Chelsea Group.
The insurance services provider will form a division of the Group, following the former’s acquisition by the global security and resource management company.
Under the new arrangement, Security Exchange will provide specialist insurance risk management consultancy services to clients ranging from underwriters and brokers to their insureds.
In its role with the Chelsea Group, Security Exchange will build on the Group’s 25 year track record in providing tailored services across a diverse range of exposures, including kidnap and ransom, product contamination, terrorism and political violence, marine piracy, aviation and cyber.
Security Exchange also stands to benefit from the acquisition by gaining access to the Group’s expanded global footprint.
Rupert Reid, managing director of Security Exchange said: “The acquisition of Security Exchange by The Chelsea Group brings our clients significant benefits; as being part of an established group enables us to deepen and broaden our special risks product offering, and provides us with a truly global footprint.”
“This acquisition adds an important division to The Chelsea Group as we further consolidate our position as a leading international provider of fully integrated security risk management services,” Lord Westbury, chairman of The Chelsea Group, added.
