Lloyd’s broker THB has reinforced its board with the addition of two long-time and well-known industry executives.
The company recently announced that Lorraine Adlam has been appointed as non-executive chairwoman and head of the THB risk committee. She took up her new post in October.
Malcolm Beane has been named independent non-executive director and chair of the THB audit committee. He joined the company in September.
“It gives me great pleasure to welcome Lorraine and Malcolm and their exceptional respective talents to THB,” said THB Group CEO Frank Murphy.
“I am sure they will be tremendous assets to our business,” he added.
Adlam brings more than 35 years of broking and underwriting experience to THB, having previously been CEO of Novae’s Lloyd’s managing agency and head of
Aon UK retail financial institutions.
Until 2013, Adlam was chairwoman of
Howden Insurance Brokers and was formerly a non-executive director of Pembroke Managing Agency. She is also a non-executive director of Red24.
Beane has more than 43 years of experience and has held several senior in-house and advisory positions, including chief operating officer at
