Tasker Insurance Group (TIG) has announced a major office move as it continues to grow, especially on the back of the 20% expansion of its Lloyd’s broker Tasker & Partners Limited (TPL). On November 01, the firm’s head office and TPL will move to a larger space in Beaufort House.
“We have clarity within our thinking and exciting plans for the future which, coupled with the real momentum we are building as we leave 2017, means we are well placed to successfully deliver and enjoy a fantastic 2018 and beyond,” said CEO Robert Organ.
TIG’s head office is also the registered office address for its other group companies, including Kent-based MGA, Gresham Underwriting Limited (GUL), and its retail insurance broking businesses, Tasker Southeast Limited.
The office move follows a string of major hires for the firm. Earlier this year, the firm appointed Robert Munden as chief underwriting officer. Organ joined just last month, and TIG has recently hired Alan Savage as new national development manager. More appointments are anticipated in the future, according to a statement from the firm.
“[W]ithin the wholesale team, Alan’s appointment has added more depth to an already highly capable team who work hard to support their brokers,” said managing director Barry Reynolds. “The specialist retail teams are enjoying their own success reflecting the passion for what they do. I expect that with new leadership and momentum at a group level, the business will continue to go from strength to strength.”
