Southern Rock Insurance owner Arron Banks has accused Vote Leave of putting in an application “full of lies and misrepresentation” as it becomes the ‘official’ ‘out’ grouping for the June referendum.
The insurance millionaire is a backer of the rival grouping Grassroots Out, as well as being closely connected to Nigel Farage, leader of the UK Independence party.
He said he would probably seek a judicial review of the selection by the Electoral commission due to his belief that the Vote Leave application was seriously flawed.
