AIG Life Limited has bagged another insurance deal – this time with Skipton Building Society.
Citing the insurer’s flexible seven-minute application process as well as its “human approach and empathy” towards policyholders,” Skipton Building Society has chosen AIG Life to provide life and critical illness coverage to the mutual’s customers.
“We’re very proud to be working with Skipton Building Society,” commented AIG Life partnerships director Nicola Dryden on the tie-up with the savings and mortgages specialist.
“Their strong relationship with local communities and with their customers means, like us, they care about being there for people when life takes a turn for the worse, and know how important it is to encourage families to have financial support in place.”
For Maitham Mohsin, head of savings and partnerships at Skipton, the alliance is the mutual’s way of making things simple for customers when it comes to getting covered.
“Life and critical illness insurance is a form of comfort that we should all have but hope to never need,” said Mohsin. “So we’ve tried to make this as easy and effortless as possible for our customers, by partnering with AIG.
“AIG’s human approach and empathy towards their customers is why they also have one million customers and why we want to work with them.”
