Sedgwick has expanded its team once again by appointing Hannah Dixon (pictured) as its new UK client director only a month after it boosted its UK fraud investigation team. She will replace Mark George, who will retire in May after 25 years with the company.
With over 10 years of insurance experience, Dixon brings proven expertise in vendor and operational management, selection, and oversight across multiple lines of business. She is also experienced in designing and building operational claims teams and relationship management across claims, underwriting, sales, brokers, managing general agents (MGAs), and vendors.
Dixon is well known for her work for Insurance United Against Dementia (IUAD), where she is a board member and regularly speaks at industry events to help raise awareness of dementia.
David Aiston, the strategic business development director for Sedgwick UK, said the appointment highlights the company’s aim to bring in fresh, young talents who will meet its growth plans and respond to increasing client demand.
“I am extremely pleased to welcome Hannah to the Sedgwick family,” Aiston said. “I also would like to take this opportunity to thank Mark for his 25 years of exceptional service at Sedgwick and his unique contributions to the company. Mark is highly respected and well known across our client base and has delivered a significant contribution to the growth of Sedgwick and its legacy businesses. I wish him all the best in his retirement.”
Nicola Dryden, the UK chief client officer at Sedgwick, added: “Hannah’s appointment is great news for our team and Sedgwick, and I very much look forward to working with her. She is an up-and-coming industry talent, and she will be a great asset for the business and will work well with our clients.”
