Insurance software provider SchemeServe has strengthened its board with the appointment of John Price as the firm’s new COO.
Price has been with SchemeServe for over five years and most recently served as IT director. A veteran in the technology sector, his career highlights include being part of the original team for .NET, a software framework developed by Microsoft.
Apart from Price, SchemeServe also appointed Colin Kippin as director and head of the software provider’s team that designs and builds clients’ online quote and buy schemes.
SchemeServe appointed Price and Kippin to recognise their “outstanding commitment and talent.” Chief executive Adam Bishop said the company is expected to “go from strength to strength” under their leadership.
“We are now at a stage in our growth that needs a strong management team to direct and develop the business to the next leve,” Bishop said. “Both Colin and John have a wealth of experience in Insuretech and they have both been instrumental in our success.”
A cloud-based provider of insurance software for intermediaries, SchemeServe now operates more than 200 schemes and £150 million of gross written premium.
