In October it was revealed that
Saga chairman Andrew Goodsell is leaving the travel and insurance service provider next year. Now there’s more news of departures.
It has been verified that approximately 100 employees at the Kent-headquartered firm are being let go, according to
ITV News Meridian.
“We can confirm that the difficult decision has been taken this week to make around 100 employees redundant across the business,”
Saga told
ITV on Saturday. “This process is being managed sensitively with all of Saga’s impacted employees.
“We are consulting with all those affected and until this process is complete we are unable to confirm the changes that will be made.”
Saga’s move was part of a regular review of its structure. “…in taking this action our objective is to make the business more efficient, customer-focused, and sustainable in the long term,” said the insurer.
