It may have been trading since 1954 and had already established itself as one of the dominant insurance players in the East of England, but Saffron Insurance has enjoyed a new lease of life since joining Broker Network in January.
To emphasise the point, the firm has today revealed an acquisition of its own – swooping for independent broker Grove Financial Management Ltd, which has itself been trading for more than 35 years and is based in Sandy, Bedfordshire.
“I’m delighted to announce our first acquisition since joining with Broker Network,” said David Beswick, Saffron’s managing director. “David Lloyd and his team at Grove Insurance have enjoyed huge success recently and I look forward to working with them and building on that.
“This is another client-focused business that really complements our own business and David Lloyd’s decision to join us further demonstrates the appeal of Saffron and Broker Network working together.”
The Grove team will all make the switch to Saffron and will continue to trade from their existing office.
