RSA has hired
AXA Corporate Solutions UK chief executive Gaëlle Tortuyaux to become managing director of
RSA France.
Tortuyaux – who has held leadership roles at AXA in France and the UK since 2000 – will join RSA next month. She will lead a team of 100 people serving large and multinational France-domiciled business.
“I am really looking forward to joining RSA to lead the French operation, with the management team, in building long-term relationships with customers and brokers, enriching our value proposition, and differentiating our brand,” said Tortuyaux.
She continued: “This will enable us to grow our business in a sustainable manner and help RSA achieve its best-in-class ambitions for our clients and shareholders’ benefit.”
Richard Turner, Europe director for global risk solutions at RSA, said the key hire is highly respected among brokers, customers, and peers.
“Her appointment will help drive forward RSA’s growth in France across our lines of business including commercial property, liability, construction, power & engineering, and marine,” commented Turner.
He added: “She will bring a wealth of experience of both the French and UK insurance markets and we look forward to welcoming Gaëlle to RSA.”
RSA employs 13,500 people, serving more than nine million customers in over 100 countries.
