In her new role, D’Urso will be responsible for the underwriting of large, complex global property risks. She will also help strengthen broker relationships and aid in the professional development of junior members of the Risk Managed Property team. She will be based in London.
D’Urso has more than a decade of industry experience. She joins RSA from Zurich, where she works in the global corporate team. D’Urso joined Zurich in 2011 as a catastrophe and accumulations technician before becoming an assistant underwriter. She advanced to her current role of property underwriter in 2017.

She’ll be a fantastic addition to the team, be valued by brokers and customers and will play a key role as we grow our business in this area.”
In May, RSA announced the appointment of Indhira Mani as chief data officer. The company also announced the launch of a management liability product in partnership with Q Underwriting.
