There is a familiar face at the top of RSA Mobility.
One of the largest commercial insurers in the UK has appointed Catherine Frost (pictured) as its managing director with immediate effect – a step up from her previous role as interim MD following Rob Gibbs, her predecessor, moving into the position of MD of commercial risk solutions for RSA UK & International.
Frost has had a varied history in the company having worked in finance and risk positions for nine years in Liverpool before joining RSA Mobility in 2010. Originally, she was the unit’s finance director before later moving into the role of operations director.
“I’m excited to be taking on this new leadership role in a business that I know very well, with teams who genuinely care about our customers and take real pride in providing a great service for them,” said Frost.
Currently, RSA has more than 600,000 motability customers and has held a partnership with motability operations for 22 years. The Motability scheme enables disabled people to use their government-funded mobility allowance to lease a new car, scooter or powered wheelchair.
“I am delighted that Cath has accepted this position and I know she will continue to drive the business forward with customers at the heart of our decision-making,” added Gibbs. “Cath brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this role and I have no doubt that she will be huge success.”
