RSA has introduced a new face as it looks to develop its European operations.
Jeroen den Tex (pictured) has joined the firm as commercial director, Europe, making the switch from
Aon Inpoint where he was managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In his new role he will develop the sales, marketing and distribution strategy for not only RSA’s five European operations, but also the Dubai International Financial Centre and Nordic Hull.
In the newly created role, den Tex will report to Owen Thomas, the company’s sales and distribution director, Global Risk Solutions, and heads up the commercial teams including managing head office relationships with major brokers.
“Jeroen has a track record for strong sales delivery and is an excellent commercial operator,” commented Thomas about the appointment. “Combined with his leadership and deep understanding of the EMEA insurance market and broker community, Jeroen will greatly enhance our ability to grow GRS Europe in the markets in which we want to grow.
“Through feedback and customer satisfaction surveys we know that brokers and customers want us to be consistent and to clearly articulate the benefits of working with RSA in their specific sector. To this end, Jeroen will also be responsible for rolling out RSA sector specialisms across Europe and ensuring our propositions meet the needs and exceed the expectations of our customers and brokers.”
