Non-executive director Joseph Streppel is leaving RSA Insurance Group Plc.
Effective May 09, the departure will see the Dutch national exit the remuneration and group audit committees of which he is currently a member. Meanwhile, according to the insurance group, his successor as investment committee chair will be named in due course.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Jos for his valuable contribution to the group over the past seven years and, in particular, for his contribution as chair of the investment committee,” commented RSA chairman Martin Scicluna.
“On behalf of all at RSA, we wish him every success for the future.”
No reason was provided for Streppel’s retirement from the board.
Last month the London-headquartered enterprise appointed Sonia Baxendale as a non-executive director effective today, March 01. She is joining the group audit and investment committees.
