James Gearey (pictured), former managing director of RSA’s Commercial Risk Solutions, has been recruited by Covéa Insurance.
At the UK underwriting business of French mutual insurance group Covéa, Gearey will serve as corporate development & strategy director. The experience he brings to the role includes time spent as director of partnerships at Aviva UK between 2006 and 2008.

The corporate development & strategy director’s appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
