British insurer Royal London has appointed Standard Life executive Andrea Montague to the new role of deputy group finance director.
Montague will take up her new position in January 2017 and will be in charge of financial reporting, along with other responsibilities.
“The role of deputy group finance director is new for Royal London,” said Group finance director Tim Harris.
“Andrea will be responsible for taking the financial reporting and control function forward as well as further development of our finance vision for the future,” he added.
At Standard Life, Montague gained more than 10 years of experience in a number of finance, audit and transformation roles in the UK and Ireland.
