Insurance agency and specialist loss adjustor QuestGates has set its sights on Irish expansion after securing a notable acquisition today.
The company has revealed a deal for Belfast-based loss adjustor Neill, Simms & Company which provides services across Ireland, north and south, with a particular focus on the property and construction sectors.
According to a release, the firm’s team – including Barry Neill, Barry Lorimer and Angela Magowan – will be integrated into QuestGates’ Northern Ireland office.
“We’ve known Barry for a number of years and have huge respect for the technical expertise he and his team have,” said QuestGates’ regional director for Ireland Glen Donaldson. “They are extremely well regarded within the Irish insurance industry and we are delighted that we can now count them as members of our own team. The skills and knowledge that they bring will be a valuable addition to our growing business and will serve to further strengthen our services to clients and customers throughout both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.”
QuestGates has been on an expansion march in Ireland in recent times, appointing Donaldson back in February to develop its presence in the country. It has also leased new premises in Belfast and added Aaron Pollin, Gary Watt and Ryan Wilkinson to its team.
