Specialist insurer ProSport has added LV= Broker’s Highway product to its panel – offering motor insurance to sportspeople who are playing championship level rugby and below, as well as to minor counties cricketers.
“We are delighted to welcome Highway to our panel, where they will considerably strengthen our insurance offer to sportspeople,” commented volume lines MD Russell Bence, who is responsible for the ProSport brand.
The announcement said there are plans to expand the offering to track and field and other Olympic sports like archery, swimming, cycling, field hockey, and rowing. The cover will also potentially include sports officials such as umpires.
Michael Lawrence, personal lines director at LV= Broker, said: “Sports insurance is a growing market and adding the Highway product to the ProSport panel demonstrates our appetite for enhancing our specialist lines portfolio.”
