James Cowen has made the switch from CFC Underwriting to Probitas 1492.
The former casualty team leader, whose experience includes time spent at Miller and Gallagher, came onboard the Lloyd’s syndicate as international general liability senior underwriter. He will work with international GL underwriter Stuart Hollins and report to chief underwriting officer for casualty Neila Buurman.

Cowen, who started his career at Lloyd’s broker HMA, brings more than 14 years of industry expertise to the role.
Probitas 1492 specialises in property, construction, and casualty insurance and reinsurance solutions. It can underwrite risks across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Canada.
