Pro Global Insurance Solutions, the UK-headquartered service provider to re/insurers, has appointed Jan-Henning Evers as the new managing director of its German business.
Based in Sundern and Cologne, Evers will be tasked with spearheading the growth of Pro Claims Solutions GmbH to respond to an increased market demand for specialist claims services across occupational disability and health.
Pro’s German unit specialises in occupational disability insurance in the private insurance industry, with clients including a number of German insurance companies.
Evers joins from Crawford & Company (Deutschland) where he held senior roles including legal counsel, head of liability and, most recently, head of loss adjusting.
Pro believes that Evers’s background as a lawyer will help the company in developing its position within the market while strengthening its specialist claims solutions.
According to the firm, Evers has a “unique” insight into both the view of the customer and the live claims market since he has worked for insurance companies and claims solution providers.
“Jan joins Pro at a time when the market is looking to drive efficiencies while managing complex claims and ensuring excellent customer care,” said Robert Buchberger, head of Pro’s German division.
“We want to keep growing and expanding our level of facilities to provide all current and future customers with the very best service,” he added.
