Insurers aren’t always the subject of bad press – in fact, sometimes their mere presence is enough to get people excited.
Don’t believe it? Well, take the example of Premium Choice – the insurer has just made the switch from Birmingham to Wolverhampton and is earning rave reviews in the local media as a result.
Local news outlet the
Express & Star has reported on the 17-year-old company’s move to the new Pendeford Business Park, noting that it has invested more than £750,000 into the refurbishment of Pendeford House and will now house its head office and customer contact centre in the building.
“It’s an exciting time for Premium Choice,” managing director for underwriting and business development Richard Dornan told the publication. “The new offices have been completely refurbished offering us the platform to grow our business and further develop our teams. The acquisition of the new building is the result of the company’s rapid growth and continual success.”
There are high hopes that the provider of car and commercial vehicle insurance, which has more than 100,000 customers, will bring further investment and new jobs to the area.
“We continually look for great people to assist us in our journey, we always look for people who have a passion for learning and development and want to help deliver a great customer experience,” commented co-founder Mark Woods.
Around 200 staff will be located at the new site and it is noted that approximately 15% have been recruited from Wolverhampton itself.
