Since it was announced that Peter Staddon (pictured), would be retiring from the Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA), there was an outpouring of sadness among the insurance sector at the loss of one of its most popular figures.
Now, however, Staddon’s new role has been revealed – and it seems he’s sticking with the industry.
Effective immediately he will become a non-executive director for Trilogy Managing General Agents Ltd. He will retire from the MGAA officially from September but will now take his more than 25 years of delegated authority broking experience to a new role.
“I am pleased to be joining Trilogy MGA at an important time in its development,” he said. “Operating an effective board team that can offer rigour, challenge and support has never been more important, and I look forward to working with all at Trilogy as we take the business forward.”
According to Chris Harman, the company’s chairman, Staddon’s huge experience will play a crucial role for the business.
“We are delighted that he has chosen to offer his skills, experience and time to the development of Trilogy’s business, and I look forward to welcoming him to the board,” he said.
