“Best direct pet insurance provider” – that’s the title The Insurance Emporium now goes by after winning the accolade at the YourMoney.com Awards 2019 in London.
The York-based business joined the likes of Tesco Bank and the Post Office, which won as best direct car insurance provider and best direct home & contents insurance provider, respectively. Aside from ‘direct’, there were also awards for the online category and in areas such as life, travel, and breakdown insurance.
“Initially shortlisted on the basis of their competitiveness on product price and structure, all nominees were then benchmarked by a panel of mystery shoppers on the quality of service provided,” noted The Insurance Emporium.
“The ‘mystery shop’ was carried out on The Insurance Emporium’s customer contact team, after which they were judged as providing the best quality of service overall.”
This year’s event was the 22nd edition of the financial services awards, which also recognise providers of personal loan, mortgage, healthcare, savings/current account, and investment-related products and services.
