NFU Mutual has announced the appointment of Eleanor Moore as personal sales development manager, bolstering its high-net-worth team as part of its expansion plans in the sector. Moore brings over three decades of experience in the insurance industry, with a career focusing on high-net-worth private clients.
Before joining NFU Mutual, Moore served as director of private clients at Broadway Insurance Partners, according to a news release. She previously held the same role at C&C Insurance Brokers and has served as president of the Manchester Insurance Institute. Recognised for her leadership and expertise, Moore was named one of Insurance Business’s Elite Women in 2024.
In her new role, Moore will support NFU Mutual’s sales strategy, working on developing tailored products for high-net-worth clients, and identifying new growth opportunities. Her responsibilities include collaborating with NFU Mutual’s nationwide network of agencies, regional sales teams, and external partners to expand the company’s offerings in the high-net-worth space.
Moore expressed enthusiasm about her appointment, stating, “The bespoke, personal touch is so important to cultivating relationships with high-net-worth clients, and NFU Mutual’s network of agencies across the UK mean it’s perfectly set up to deliver the kind of first-class service private clients expect from their insurer. We have ambitious plans to become a leading player in providing cover for high-net-worth private clients.”
Dawn Blazier, head of high-net-worth insurance at NFU Mutual, highlighted the significance of Moore’s appointment, particularly as the company marks the 10th anniversary of its first high-net-worth insurance product. Blazier noted that the company has seen double-digit growth in its high-net-worth segment every year since its inception.
“Having somebody of Eleanor’s experience and calibre on board will help us to do this, and her knowledge of the high-net-worth space and contacts built from decades in the industry will help us drive growth in this area,” Blazier said.
Moore’s work will also include fostering collaboration across NFU Mutual’s personal product lines, the news release noted.
NFU Mutual, headquartered in the UK, offers a range of insurance, life, pension, and investment products. Its network of over 280 local agencies is integrated into rural communities.
