In September we told you about
AXA Insurance’s
schemes initiative and the people heading the business; now the insurer has announced new appointments for regional branch manager posts.
Snapping up
Allianz branch manager for Chelmsford Terri Driscoll-Cooper, AXA has named her Ipswich branch manager. She will assume the role in the New Year.
Jelf markets and placement executive Darren Tanner, meanwhile, is joining AXA in the middle of this month as branch manager of Reading.
Current Reading and Maidstone branch manager Gareth Hughes will become branch manager for the London Commercial and Maidstone branches, replacing London Commercial branch manager Sean Clark who is leaving the insurer to take up a new role at the end of 2017.
“I would like to welcome Terri and Darren to AXA and would thank Sean for all of his hard work at AXA and wish him the best for the future,” said Linda Courtney, regional commercial branch director – South.
According to the firm, the restructure is part of its strategy of aligning key staff and regional offices more closely with what brokers require.
“Brokers play an important role in our growth, so it is vital we do what we can to meet their needs at a regional level,” explained Courtney. “Terri and Darren are highly regarded in their markets and Gareth has a great knowledge of his local brokers and the key strategic relationships across the Maidstone and London Commercial branches.”
