Legal expenses insurer MSL has entered into a three-year partnership with Friends Legal Marketing.
As part of the deal with the online legal case generation specialist, MSL will be responsible for handling employer liability, public liability, and road traffic accident claims in England and Wales. The agreement is in line with MSL’s new strategic focus on growth.
“This new business win breaks new ground for MSL as a claims management provider, and we hope it will lead to further growth for us in the sector,” commented MSL client relationship manager Tony Sharrock, who expects hundreds of new case enquiries per month.
Sharrock added that MSL is responding to civil justice changes, and has broadened the scope of its offering to corporate clients. Services include first notice of loss (FNOL), credit hire, and medical reporting.
MSL will handle FNOL and client capture for leads from Friends Legal. Legal elements of accepted claims are then managed through MSL’s panel of solicitors.
Friends Legal owner Tony O’Malley said MSL deservedly won the business after a competitive tender.
“Working alongside MSL, we will ensure Friends Legal customers in England and Wales have the best possible claims experience during a traumatic time in their lives,” he said.
